Humble Ourselves

What do I do? Where do I go from here? What is in store for my future? All of these questions are serious and legitimate. Now, more that ever, these types of questions have come to our mind. True concern seems to have overtaken the world and the question ‘what do we do’ is at the top. Thankfully the answer to all of our seemingly unanswerable questions are simple.
Humble yourself and pray. To humble yourself is to let go of the situation and with a humble heart hand it over to God. It is casting your cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7) and never picking them up again. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God gives you a step-by-step guide on how to see this world “healed” and “forgiven” of their sin.
What we have to do is humble ourselves, pray, seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways, then we will see a God-fearing world again. Prayer is a mighty gift that has been given to us. Often we overlook the power of prayer and do not utilize it. This is the reason we usually ‘don’t know what to do’ in life. God has given us prayer as a dynamic tool to use. It is time that we, as Christian believers, start praying with a fervent and humble heart. God will hear our cry for this land and save us in our time of need.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
