Eye Sight
24/01/09 21:17
Just recently mom went and got her eyes checked. As the eye doctor told her that her eyes were seeing 20/20, I remembered that spiritually we all see with our hearts. Paul’s prayer for the church in Ephesus was that ‘the eyes of your heart maybe enlightened’ (Eph. 1:18). I had to ask myself if I was seeing God as clearly as Paul had prayed that we would.

When our hearts are dirty, our vision becomes impaired. Spiritual blinders are put up and our view of Him is blocked. Therefore we need to ask and give permission to remove anything that keeps us from seeing His presence in our life.
Remember, God is always at work (John 5:17). He wants you to know and see Him clearer and clearer. He longs for you and I to see how much love He has for us. At this moment, the eyes of our hearts are being opened to a new level of His presences. It’s time to pray and let God clean out our hearts so we can clean up our world.
