Romans 8: 37 “Who shall separate us "from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”
No one wants to face these things. Yet, Paul tells us, even while in the midst of these things, “I am more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” vs. 38 Paul goes on to say, “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us "from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Paul’s heart soared in victory while in the midst of the most horrendous circumstances. His heart, soul & mind were firmly fixed on God.
2 Cor. 4:8"10 says, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed...”
Paul then says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”
2 Cor. 4:17 Paul calls this a “light affliction which is but for a moment.” How?
1 Cor. 4:18 continues, “While we look (not at the things which are seen, but at the “things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
Look to the Invisible One’s love for you! Our Invisible God created the visible world. He still intervenes in this created world for you. Look to Him & consider all, “light afflictions for a moment.”
